I am currently making a animated chain, but how do I know the animation frames? I am puzzled at the any .fpe. Also, I'm using 3D Canvas.

Well if your making the animation, then you can see the animation frames in the 3D app your using. Just note them down and add to the .fpe where needed.

Maybe best to open a pre existing .fpe for an animated entity and see how it's done and where it all goes.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

But if you are making a custom animation you need to make a custom fpe and custom fpi.

Just grab an existing fpe/fpi for a door or any other entity with a simple animation and edit it to fit what you require. That way you will learn as you go, as a lot of stuff in fpe files etc are pretty generic.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^
