Same here though.

@Mike, your models are looking great! However I agree with the above posts - edges too soft, grip is ... [*carefully typing and checking spelling*] uncomfortable [/*carefully typing and checking spelling*] ... But I do love the look - Section 8 inspired? Or no?

What format is the stop sign in on your TS account? Why did you select it to be 'other'...

Alright, I was wondering what file format you made it in

And did you use transparency for the stop sign? That's pretty clever! But if a person shoots anywhere inside the transparency, it'll leave an ugly floating bullethole. But then again, professional game developers always find miracles...

I used an alpha map and it's not to hard to use the alpha map as a mask for the bullet holes

That gun looks awesome, mike5424! Also, about the stop sign...

Quote: "I used an alpha map and it's not to hard to use the alpha map as a mask for the bullet hole"

Do you mean that you would just have the bullet holes still on the sign but invisible, or would you be setting up collision using the alpha?

If the first, it would suck to be shooting someone just outside the visible edge of the sign, and not be able to hit them.

If the second, I think it would use up less resources(however small) to just put the 8 extra triangles needed for the front and back of the octagon.

But good work nevertheless!

Oh boy, im slowly sinking in the talent. But a flat background and smother render will help to judge the model.

Might want to rework the, um breasts? If your going for a man(looking at the definition) then they should be more squared and higher, and larger.

just curious have you bought that book? about the torso don't go for the standard 'everyone has a six pack' few people do, try looking through selwy's portfolio, he has incredible anatomy studies, eveny some quick sculpt videos, thats the best way to learn (just incase you forgot who i was talking about: http://www.selwy.com/ )

The closest rear foor looks a little funny, but the overall design is very giger-ish.

The back hips could do with some work to make the body flow better and as you said your working on the face so, other than that its actually pretty good mate ^___^

I really should learn to sculpt lol.

It seems to be the angle. It's exactly the same as the other rear foot.

i believe either it is easy or not varies from person to person =) however yes, study references is always necessary to improve, and practice, just practice a hell of a lot!
