I've found a script before and it's supposed to show a hud that represents your current health. But for some reason it doesn't update when I get hurt.. Anyone help?

If i am correct but im not a scripter, state 0 is for creating the huds then it moves on to state 10 to display the hud so you dont really need

i have seen it done much simpler then what you have there if i find it i will post it its in my scriptbank somewhere

That worked even less, now the hud doesn't even appear.

Okay, the problem with that script is it dosen't say when to jump from state 0 to 1, so its stuck at state 1 now

(yay i feel like a coder)

I've never scripted with HUDs before, but I see one problem. It is right here:

Just change the first line to :state=0:state=1.

Ocho, you're kinda right, but I believe the script is actually stuck on state 0, and can't even advance to state 1, which is necessary to advance to state 10 which would update when the player gets hurt.

;Triggers

:state=0,state=1
:state=1,plrwithinzone=1:state=10,activated=10

here is the problem or at least one with the first script it should read

:state=0:state=1
:state=1,plrwithinzone=1:state=10,activated=10

Present for all,

Heres a HUD i made, it has the blood visual and an HUD readout, its supposed to be a screen type, and cracks when you get to low health

contains the working script just place the hud images in
languagebank/<yourlanguage>/huds

enjoy

Use your original script. But change this line:

to this:

(It had a comma instead of a colon)
