Just noticed you might want to change it to "10 for just one WEAPON"
I just saw your video on youtube, definitely worth the money with all those animations! Good job man.

I think that it would be cool if there was a 'free sample' suchas lets say... a red dot sight?

As I said before, the attachments are a bonus, and I cant put up a bonusobject as a sample for something else
You can get the machete for free from The Game Creator Store.

I think he means the animations...Not the selection, obviously, but the animations themselves. They're good, but in all honesty not up to par with stuff like MP 9+10. But very good for only $10.

I see...

The reason why the animations may seam robotic is because I use Milkshape for animations. And as I understand Errant uses 3DS Max for his models (Mp9+10). He also has years of experience. He is more talented than me, so its unfair (but I also appreaciate it) to be compared with him

I agree. Yes, you're not the best, but you aren't saying you are.

I guess it's the whole "once you try EAI you can't go back" kind of thing. Which isn't true in my opinion. I can imagine having a small level with only different versions of his gun coming out pretty well.

Good to know that someone else feels the need to make each post seem nice. It can be hard conveying that with only text.

BTW, Fragmotion is pretty good at animating.

Its the shader I'm using. I have just not gotten around to changing it.
You see in Unity you have to use a transparency shader or you get no tansparency, its not like FPSC.

Hmm... But how would solve it?
Maybe make the "glas" as a seperate model?

Hey, looks great! I may buy. Is that video with the X10 HUD really X10? If it is, how'd you get all of those different animations(especially the ironsights zoom) working in X10?

The weapon works in FPSCX10, but you wont be able to use all animations.
The way I got it working was by setting the idle animation to play all keyframes of the weapon.
I made this because I have no videorecorder that works so I used the one in X10.

You are still able to use the new animations by replacing the standard ones with the new.

Update!

The M4A5 can now be found in The Game Creator Store.
Notice that the GCS version do not include attachments, woodtexture or the shooting range entities.

Goes for 500points ($5)

A basic version is also being uploaded which doesnt include all the fancy animations, but will go for a lower price.

Fore those who havent noticed, now the M4A5 has been accepted in the store. There is also a basic version for half the price but without all the extra animations.

Hey, I was just wondering, will you be updating this in any way?

I was just asking because I have noticed a lot of things that seem to be "buy this model" and then turn into a whole series of whatevers. Just curious.

EDIT: I've also noticed that the Holographic sight isn't UV mapped correctly. Any word on this? Or did I screw up?

You mean if there will be more weapons like this?

Who knows...

As for the holographic sight I dont know what could be the problem, I am not able to check it out right now.
Could you explain which part of the UV isnt mapped correctly?

I have planned a few weapons, but I have to many other projects: 2 or 3 DB Pro games, one of those will compete in Swedish Game Awards, and a few other things.

But I hope I will have a bigger and better pack ready within a few months.

And maybe some of your request will be included "

DON'T TELL ME THAT IS ALL A LIE D: (Meaning you would have gotten my hopes up that you would make another weapon pack)

The whole set of attachments don't seem to be mapped right...As if they have been flipped. You put the arrangement of the faces right, just not in the right place...All I had to do to fix it was move the whole set to somewhere else.

Yes I did GJ...But this isn't really the thread to talk about it in.

EDIT: I think it's fragmotion...I haven't actually tested most of them in-game. Most I just took what was in Fragmotion for granted...Let me try this...

Yeah, I don't think it is...Either that or I screwed something up.

Could you check to make sure that they are mapped correctly? And that I'm not messing up somehow?

They should be correctly mapped, I have attached a picture of the UV layout and the texture.
Notice that effects like the sights, red dot and knife is mapped on the gun_D2 and not the attachments_d2

Maybe this could be the problem when using Fragmotion?
Anyone else get a similiar problem when riggin the attachments to the gun in fragmotion?

Try the Milkshape trial and see if that work.

Quote: "Very nice work! But how the heck did you do that laser?"

Thanks!

The laser is a secret

Nah, its just a plane with a dot on it that is centered at the same position as the crosshair should have been. Then its rigged to the gunbone

After trying it with milkshape, yeah, I think it was Fragmotion.

Well, that solved that.
