Well, first of all, I`m not english and my articulation is very limited. (I use to cover it up with loads of swear words...so you`re warned )

The Story isn' t that bad. Even though it would be nice if you would have added a few more details about the main character and that job... but still its a solid ghost story. Enough for a game.

The installation procedure was okay, even though I wasn't able to see some of the checkboxes due to the black colored background. But nevermind! Nobody really cares about that anyway
Title Screen and loading screens where good and fitted well together and to the game

The Game has new damage huds... I appreciate people trying to give their games personal touches...but honesty, the original one was better. There are actually no HUD's and no hint on how healthy your character is...
The good things where the interactive environement and the documents. I didn' t like the fact that you have to pickup keys with the enter button...but the "objective" screen was a nice touch.

The Ideas where good...even though running around through the house was a bit annoying after some time... But the little riddles where well placed and realistic/reasonable. I really like all the work you putted in there. Even though you could have improved the levelchanges which seem to come a lil bit too unexpected and maybe a little cutscene that you fall asleep/ get knocked unconsinous...because I really had no idea what was actually going on as I dreamed...even though it was nicely done.
Okay: I really disliked the ennemies. The basic idea of escaping ghosts is brilliant...but, I always saw them standing around and I almost never woke one of them up...if I did, I was able to lock them in a room in a few seconds. They where absolutely not dangerous and killed the good athmosphere.

Okay, everyone told you that, but those walltexture wasn' t seamless. Other than that: I liked it. It wasn' t great, but athmospheric, well fitting. The Manor had reasonable/realistic roomplacements and a good...but too frequent...choice of models.
Some let downs where "floor = roof" faults etc. More to see below!
The lightmapping was alright. Not brilliant, some times a bit too dark, but bugfree and fitting.

Okay: I liked the way you retextured everything to give the game a unique somewhat cartoonish look. It fitted very well together and you used a good colorpalette. Some textures seemed low quality, but it didn' t bring down the game. I appreciate how you managed that the dynamic objects seemed to be static / fitted together with lightmapping etc. I really didn't notice these dynamic shelves to move around etc...big thumps up for that.
The ennemies wheren' t detailed but looked ok.

Stolen/Ripped Sound effects do not get any marks...even though you used them good.

-Those toonish videos where a nice touch.
-I didn't like the endcredits... Writing your name that often seems a bit stuck up... come on! You may have had the idea and designed few textures and the leves. But still: Bond 1 made the ennemie characters, most standart material isn' t made by you, most textures are originally made by other artists, like simon benge...
- I first didn' t want to download this game cause of this [Jonez Games]. Yeah... you know, its nice if you want to make yourself a name... but just writing "Phobia - the fear of darkness" would sound way more interesting and promising than that. No offense at all, but Jonez Games sounds a bit infantile, especially since your only one person.

65 % Jupp! One of the better FPSC Games. Keep up the good work!!

-You are, like me, not english which you can see in the ingamedocuments filled with errors. I would suggest ask some one who speaks english to review them before you release them. I damned my girlfriend to do this for me
- I red you want to sell the sequel? I don' t like this...you won' t get richt with fpsc games and there are way too less good freeware games...so I would like you to stay on the light side (or maybe the dark side

) of free software
- I made a similar game ages ago. It was only a german beta release but it had similar gameplay and graphics and loads of ripped sounds

Please get rid of such symbolism!!
Thats what everybody is talking about...not seamless =/
Watch the floor textures while editing...and yes..place these creatures so they surprise the player.
More pictures showcasing the failed ennemie placement which killed the whole concept/athmosphere/gameplay

Try to spawn ennemies in dark corners from where they can attack the player without being seen first in future projects.
