Well ive just started my entry, much to the dismay of my art and ict teachers #

Everything is cool and relaxed so i got my mojo back. That and the realisation i would lose my pretty trophy biggadd made which is so shiney...

...
...
...

Crap =_-

So im making mine out of entirly 1x1x1 boxes, then mirror will auto weld the middle seam so it will be 1x2x2 but the orginal shape and form will remain so its the same as working in 1x2x2 boxes. It just saves polies, time and having a huge seam and normal distortion in the middle of it, making it useless for anything. Goto be practical.

looks good, and just wondering, are you using vue 6 or 7 to render that?

It's the mental ray physical sun and sky setting in maya. It's a pretty cool option for quick nice looking renders. However, I like ibl better so I'll be using that for my final entry.

My entry
As there's nothing left (imo), I'm going to just submit this piece, and see what happens.
-The pic

On another note, Josh: that model is impressive, considering that it is made completely out of primitives. If I've got any chance anymore, it's going to be in texture as there's no way mine can compete with that on a model aspect

Good luck to all

Hopefully more people finish a model so this is more of a competition.

Ultimate_H:
You have a good chance of taking 1st place because you went ahead and textured everything and rendered a scene...I didn't. The best I'll get is the best model medal.

Good luck!

3 days left to go, but 3 days left inactive o.O To be honest, I would have entered, but I like competitions like the wood works comp, and if you beleive that excuse, then I'm George Washington Nah, to be honest I got real busy and for the times I had off, I just straight out procrastinated Hope I can enter the next one, and actually [i]enter[i] an entry.

Sort of. No actual smooth or rigid binding just groups assigned to joints.
