FPS Creator X10 / lighting in ventilation ducts

i'm having problems with ventilation ducts
the ducts are completely pitch black when i go into them and i can't light them because when i put a light marker in it goes to the top of the layer, but the ventiliation shafts ceiling is not at the top of the layer and remains pitch black
any ideas how i can light the duct?

Use page up and page down keys to raise and lower lights.
