Well, i just wanted to know if anyone has actully tried the 3D feature with NVIDA? It sounds awesome to be able to play games like CoD or Oblivion with 3D but does it work with every game? I am intrested to maybe buy it but i want to hear what you guys think about it. Has anyone tried it with COD? How was it?

And what would be the cheapest price to get this at my computer?

You can get pretty much any game to work with bog standard 3D glasses (red blue, blue yellow whatever) with that free iz3d driver. Not the same, but it works.

If you can really afford to buy the special monitor(s) and fancy glasses and all that crap, go for it. But it may be a long while before you see more than a couple of games with full support.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Looking at about £500sh pound for a half decent setup. Too expensive for my liking.

I have a 9800 card (£80) which has 3D capability. Glasses would be about £100, and then I think you're up and running, the card and drivers do the rest

I think you need a 120Hz monitor, don't know if only certain makes and models work though. I've tried the red blue glasses with some of my games (mainly Dragon Age), the 3d effect worked quite well but of course everything was slightly weird in colour.

Depends on your setup. The 3d nvidia drivers have been around for at least a couple years though, so it's hardly new

Anyways. I have some shutter glasses that work with a standard crt and some lcd monitors. Not all games have 3d glasses support, and even more can't run fast enough even on high end equipment to work well with the glasses.

So, it's a crapshoot.

If you want good support, get the nvidia branded glasses with a certified monitor. Otherwise you'll have headaches setting it up.

If you have an extra three and a half grand laying around, you could look into this:
