Hello I haven't read these boards nor done coding in years, been too busy doing 3d graphics for television and other works.

I remember so well the nice community and everyone I met VanB my bro,Kentaree,Guy Savoie and RealGamesTools forums,Hamish McHaggis,Indy,Rick Vanner,John111,Raven aka Shadow Robert.

How's everyone doing?

This place and all those names bring back so many good times!

I was having the best of times re-reading the original DB boards transcript of the dreaded DaCodes event and thought what the hell,I'll try and see if my log on's still there (thanks ^^ )

Haven't met you but hello. Just so you know I am the king of everything, and anyone who says otherwise is just denying it for I make them watch the 1966 Batman every day and they want to get on my bad side.

@actarus:

Hi, didn't know you originally but i'm doing the same thing. Took a long break from TGC products but been programming in other languages/tools. Now I've got the urge to write a game and I think DarkGDK is conjuction with OO C++ will prove to be a really powerful tool for the job.

(Beats going through 12712871281287 OpenGL tuts anyway )

Learning DarkGDK for phun.

1966 batman = best version.

Welcome back to the forums! I'm AutoBot, I typically enjoy "badgering" the posting compo and word game thread, but I'm also a programmer and 3D modeller.

Welcome back actarus, it has been quite some time. Glad to see you are doing some work in the 3D industry, that is great. And yes, the classic zenicanin14, I think everyone should read through that for a good laugh.

Hey actarus! I have no idea if you know me for I have assumed many aliases. But for now I am god of gods, Zeus. You may know me as either Jordan Stories Games or Cool Guy Jordan. But anyway, welcome back! Nice to see you haven't lost entire interest of the boards...

Hey, welcome back! Looking through that list of names, Indie left a while back and I haven't seen Raven in a while. The rest are still here though (either that or I haven't heard of them )

You should be able to catch Indie over at the Unity3D forums, at least when I signed up he welcomed me via PM over there.

Sadly, a lot of the people you've listed don't post anymore, I think Raven might have been one of the more recent ones to stop posting. Indie stopped posting after a row with the community.

But welcome back, I don't know who you are either, but then I joined 2 years after you to this forum, so if you left before then, then that means we've never crossed one and another, but welcome none-the-less.

It's worth reading that thread at least once a year - it lightens the dullest of days.

Here it is again in case anyone missed it:

Hey Actarus, good to hear from you!
There are still a few old faces kicking around, and some old faces that got kicked around. We've been mostly productive since you were active though .

Would be cool to see some of your 3D work, sounds like your modelling's gone from strength to strength.

Evening. Gawd, that book thread is well old. Even before this forum old. Heh, just read it, and I remember calling him an abortion now. Was slightly worried I would get banned or something for being nasty to him Grief, that was almost 10 years ago now! Must get a paper bag or a large beer...

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Hi actarus, welcome back I'd say! We've never met before, so this would be the first time. I'm The Slayer, a funny guy who likes jokes and funny stuff, and not to forget...Metal! So, if you're in for some good jokes, then check out my thread 'Telling jokes,...can we???'. It's been a while since I (or anyone else) posted a joke, so maybe it's time to bring that thread back to life. And, if you like metalmusic, then check out the 'Music discussion' thread. I posted some of my stuff there recently (I play guitar, keyboard and drums...). Maybe you'll love it?
Anyway, welcome back.
