It claims it will give me $97 for my iPhone 3G 8GB, which isn't that bad if the site is legit.

I have not seen that. It looks like a deal, I'm thinking they're lying but that would be against the law, so I say go for it.

only considering it is through the internet, it isnt that simple if he would be scammed
and question is, would he be willing to go through all that just for 97$? it is possible he might loose more than he gains from it... if things become real serious...

i say: selling it on a site like Ebay will probably be safer and possibly give more profit^^
