Hey all,

After seeing Rpgamers screen I got in the mood to make my own.
To be perfectly honest my game hasnt gotten anywhere as far as code goes in the past 3 months. I've modelled another character but thats it. I'm just getting myself back together anyhow... but here it is.

Just copy and paste that to a new screen. I made it in photoshop and Lightwave3d. The Rose petals I used Particle replacment and motion blur (Windtech knows this ). The crappy poem is my..yeah it sucks but it's more of a characters 'plead'.

Comments welcome, ways I could make it look better? And yes I do know it's strange for my color scheme to be white and pink..err..no comments on that

Nice. Um... Not that it's a bad thing, but what's up with the girly pink petals? I guess it might make more sense if I knew something about the game, though... But it looks good...

I don't really like to criticize - being far from perfect myself, but since criticism is what you're asking for then here it is:
There is no such word as 'forshaken'. You could use 'for shaken' but I think in the context of your poem you mean 'forsaken'.

But otherwise err.......nice petals

P.S. You might also want to put an 'N' in ancient.

Looks nice, who cares about the roses. Whatever it is, as long as your quote fits in with the stories we don't have much room to talk.

Very good exept... those look nothing like rose petals.

They look EXCATLY like sakura (japanese cherry tree) petals.
They're a big thing in japan, and often used in japanese games so... if you want that screen to look very fitting, make sure your game is set in japan.
