Script your first trigger script so when a timer reaches a specified time, the second trigger is activated. In the IfUsed, put the name of your second trigger. Ensure in the main script that you have the activateifused=1 which will activate your second trigger.
Ensure the second trigger has the appearifactivate.fpi in the start script field.
In the character script, you could edit it's main script so that after a specified time, you can have the entity destroy.
Those are just a few ideas. Your description is a bit vague to the point of: will the player interact in some way with the spawning character? Or is it just spawning and then destroying after x seconds, etc.
