when do you think is a good stage to relese a demo? i'm getting pretty close for a demo in my game. any comments?

If you're planning to release a demo, it needs to be fully working, no bugs, and you need to be 100% certain you can release the full version.

I think what he means is that there's very little point in releasing a demo version of a game, unless your totally sure that a full version will come out.

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...

Pretty much what it says on the tin...don't release a demo if the reason you haven't got a full version is because you're stuck on some aspect of the game.

To take a very simple example, don't release your Space Invaders demo, knowing that you don't know how to do more than one level.

However, if you can do multiple levels, but your full version is just waiting for new graphics for the higher levels, release your 1 level demo.

Make sense?
