Ok now I have started porting Dark GT to DBP thought I would show some screens of the progress.

These are shots of the car select screen, using some of the new features of DBP.

glad someone is finally getting some use out of it... god knows when i actually made it, think it was origially made for Hotcars r6 which was never released. There was a porsche 911 too but i'm not sure what happened to that.

i have like 35skins for it, and its was built in such a way that the parts could fall off - just the front/rear fenders but was still a nice lil touch

Icfcfan - the wheels on the car are limbs on the main object

I have sent the demo to david89 so it should be on his site some time soon.

Raven - That was a nice BMW.

And that is a very nice Nissan Mr Neail.

I checked your site and man that is going to be something else.

What kind of system are you developing the game on? Just wonder how my Athlon 1800 XP matches up.

The delay for the demo guys is because the media inclusion in the EXE didn't quite work, and Rich isn't prepared to freely release the media as yet.

I'll keep you posted

Hey,

I should check back more !!!! LOL

David thanks for the post and I hope everyone understands.

DBoy780, The original DarkGT was developed on a PIII800 and a Athlon 550. the screens on the site are from these comps.

I am still messing with the engine in PRO to develop it further. The original is done in DB not pro.

Another site I have been looking at for inspiration is here

http://lfs.racesimcentral.com/

Check out the demo and scenery on this, hopefully I can get close too this with the latest version of DarkGT.

Hi,

Which car are we talking about?

The Nissan is done in Lightwave, I dont know what the BMW was made in Raven gave me that although it is modified in Lightwave again for my use.

All the models for DarkGT are made in lightwave.
