Hey, Mods.
I have some extremely noobish posts I have made in the past, that are downright embarrasing to read
I have a few questions.

1. If you were to Nuke my account, would I still be able to access my purchases made through TGC?

2. If you Nuke my Account would I be able to make another account and call it General Jackson?

Thanks, lol

Nuking accounts is reserved for very special people. It removes every thread and post you ever made. This would include any helpful advice you have given. We all have posts we wish we rather hadn't made...

I assume you could use the name General Jackson as it would have been cleared from the database, but I don't know for sure.

I don't know about the answer to your first question...

The simple answer is that we aren't going to nuke your account.

Best way to fix the past is to acknowledge it and learn from it, otherwise you will make the same mistakes all over again.

General Jackson,

Why not spend a little time and edit your old posts.

Truth is GJ we do stupid things, it's why we're human and it's also why we learn from them. The posts are no doubt dead anyway and maybe in the future, you'll be able to use those posts to have a good laugh about it. After all, we've had threads where people have brought up their 'noob' posts and had a good laugh at themselves.

It's the nature of life, we do stupid things and learn from it.

As said, it would remove any useful posts you've made, and I'm sure the moderators don't want to do that. So if you really want to remove them, I suppose the best answer is to seek and destroy. But nobody here is going to judge you for your previous posts, even if they did when you made them.

We only ever nuke accounts when it's real bad, like when it's someone who trolls so much, that they are a negative force on the forum. When the forum is better off without you, then the sharp mod weapons come out. There are currently no users on the forum right now who we'd consider nuking - even though I nuked an account this morning (a WOW-gold spambot). It really does take a lot for a normal user to get nuked, and we just wouldn't do it on request.

As everyone else is saying - look to the future and how you can ensure a happy forum life, be positive, and remember that people tend to take you on face value, they will judge you on the last post you made, not the first post. Sometimes it's good to write a post, then don't post it! - if you think your post might be a bit negative, or might not be understood how you'd like - then just press back. I've done that several times, it's good to get your thoughts out, but sometimes nobody else needs to read them. People who have no regrets, probably had a dull life - move on and don't dwell - people simply do not harbor grudges or opinions for very long on the internet, you can literally erase any residual negative opinions about yourself by just being positive.
