Hey guys,

I need to test a server I've written for Uni work and I'm trying to get telnet working in Windows 7 (32 bit) but I've been running into a few problems with the console.

Hopefully this video will illustrate the problems I'm having:

It seems when telent has established a connection, it messes up the console refresh. If anyone has had a similar problem with the command prompt, please let me know.

If all else fails I'll have to write a client, but I would like to use telnet, as that is what will be used for marking.

Cheers for any help

Specs:
Windows 7 32 bit
Intel QX9650
Nvidia GTS250
4GB DDR 2 RAM
Asus P5E MB

PS. (Its nothing to do with the colour scheme of the command prompt, as this happens on the default config)
PPS. (I don't want to run this in any flavour of Unix, as my dev environment is on my windows machine)

Same here in Win7 64-bit.

That website doesn't work for me either. You might check out Putty.

Hmm, mirrored here: http://bbsing.info/SyncTERM/

Putty is nice, but it doesn't display certain elements properly. If you don't need proper rendering, then it doesn't matter.
