Hello everyone, and this is my first post. Usually, I figure things out on my own. But, this has been giving me a lot of trouble. I have searched through the whole forum, and as far as I know, a couple people have asked this but have never got definitive answers, or at least answers that have solved my problem. I have fps creator x9 1.18 beta 3 (I believe). I am using the dark ai scripts on an ally, and I can detect him, he will follow me when I press the right button, but he won't shoot the enemies. I have attached a screenshot to show up my settings. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to use other scripts? Are the scripts themselves set up wrong and need editing?

Also, I downloaded the update by a user, I forget, to animate the iron sights for model packs 9 and 10. They work amazingly well, besides the fact that a gunshot sound goes off when I right click to aim down the sights. How can I fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

I see you have two threads of the same question. A friendly reminder. You can use the Edit link to include an image for download/view.

I'm surprised that the right key will cause the gun fire sound. It might be an issue with v118 for some reason. I don't get that in v117. As far as Dark AI, I haven't used it. Also, I have not been testing the new version so not sure what might be wrong.

I reject your reality and substitute my own!

Have you set your enemies to use the Enemy Dark AI scripts?

Sorry about the double post. And I finally did figure out the dark ai thing. Yes, Silvester, you are right. I needed to set the enemy having the dark ai scripts. Now it works. But, I also have the zombie apocalypse pack (which is awesome ), but I want my dark ai ally to shoot at him. When I set the dark ai scripts on the zombies, they kinda act retarted. Is there any way that I can keep the excellent zombie scripts and still have allies shoot at them?

You mean Bond's packs..? I'm sure that if you were to ask him he'd be able to help you out, or at least send you in the right direction. Even though I've had FPSC since 2005 I never really cared to do anything with the scripting engine.
