Hey all!

I went to the Steam store today and noticed over 100 specials, with some games as much as 90% off!

http://store.steampowered.com/

There are no adverts for any kind of sale, and nothing has shown up in my RSS feed yet. This will be official probably within a half hour

Dude dude dude dude dude...

ODDWORLD GAMES!!! Plus the 2 XBox Exclusives. *heart stops*

BUY! Hell yes! Sorry, I love the original two and not played the others. The games were beautifully cruel.

With these Steam deals, I'm happy I get paid Thursday.

Also POP, might consider them. I think I've still got Warrior Within on PC, so I might just get the other two. (I won't count the two new ones, I've got POP, didn't like it and don't feel too strongly about Forgotten Sands)

Oh no, they're doing daily deals! That's the worst for my impulse buying issues! I was waiting for Battlefield Bad Company 2, and now it's $6.79

Yes, that's the troubling bit...I have to buy the PoP games before they go off sale.

Steam: geniuses who know how to make people spend money.

When you think about it...it's really only £5 for the two I want.

80% is an understatement, theres whole packages from 2k games, square, paradox which some are 90+%
Only problem, is that it is laggy to hell.

[edit]
steam is having serious issues atm. lol

Smoke me a kipper, ill be back for breakfast.

Ok, I went a little tiny bit mental with my bank card today =)

I purchased:

1. Just Cause 2
2. Aliens Versus Predator
3. Railworks 2
4. Trine
5. World of Goo
6. Shattered Horizon
7. Braid
8. The Maw
9. Zeno Clash
10. Osmos
11. AudioSurf
12. Dogfighter
13. Flotilla
14. Everyday Shooter
15. Guns of Icarus
16. Gratuitous Space Battles
17. Super Laser Racer
18. Bullet Candy
19. Geometry Wars
20. Galcon Fusion
21. VVVVVVV
22. Puzzle Dimension
23. Quantz
24. Dropitz
25. Lumines
26. Puzzle Agent

The last 5 are puzzle games that the kids and my mum will play.

I managed to get all of these for £42.21, thats less than £1.55 per game

Now I just need Settlers 7 to go on the daily and I will snap that up too

I rarely buy pc games, but when you can get so many quality games (Many of the indie ones are well developed and look and play stunning) for around the price of 1 console game, I can't refuse. Christmas is the time when I spend most money on games because of these ill scheduled (for me) sales!

Here is how much I saved in total, according to steam : £113.66

I should have gotten the valve complete pack when it was on sale :\
I have half life and portal, but not l4d, l4d2, day of defeat, or counter strike. Those are all like mandatory to own if you have steam xD

Oops,

I just bought 2 more indie packs for £3.99 each. Add 10 games to that list.

26 games for £40.21

That brings average price to £1.54

Good man. You'll have fun with this. It's addictive as hell and brilliantly cruel to play. I'll either pity or respect the man who manages to complete it in no death mode, I think on my first play through I died about 2,000 times.

I'm trying so hard not to buy these games lol. I'll never end up playing most of them but I feel as if I must own them! Been staring at the Mass Effect 2 screen for about an hour now debating lol.

Signature's are stupid.
