Would have been nice if the manuel and tutorials were included with the download of anim8or.

This is going to come in real handy .

Yeah, I also have a question. What about using the anim8tor models in DBClassic and glueing on additional objects?

Anim8or is very simple, I don't think that there is an easier program to use. You can save models that aren't animated, and they work in DB/DBPro. To glue an object to a limb, you need a model with at least two objects grouped. You can't really animate in Anim8or and save in a 3D format that works in DB/DBPro, unless you want to mess around with memblocks, then you can animate the meshes as individual objects. 2D is fine. So Anim8or is good for stuff like Cars, Spaceships, buildings, background objects, and 2D animation.

@ Pincho

Rats! Oh well, I guess its time I start diving into JTEdit - another free program that works great! It also directly supports .x files!

Sorry, I'm a poor cheapskate. That's why I got DBClassic - shame on me.

Actually Milkshape is now $25. It changed a couple months ago. I am sure about this because I ordered it about 20 minutes ago

I can't wait to use it!

(I bought it because I need it for my Alienware competition entry. To see a screenshot

Sorry it is a little off topic, but I like to show off my progress. It only took me one day to do this.

Well, I gues I should discuss some stuff that is on topic. I started using Anim8or about 6 months ago, and created all of my models with it. However, I did not need any animated objects. Now I do, so that is why I bought Milkshape. You can make decent models, but no animation for DB. If you don't need animation, then just look at the tutorials and use it, otherwise get Milkshape.
