I have been looking for a free 3d modeler a while and I could not find any. I want one that is not 3ds max,anim8tor,gmax,wings 3d, or 3d Canvas. Can anyone help me. Thanks.

What do you want to model? If it is static models (no character animation), DoGA CGA is dirt simple and free to download. It really shines at starships and mecha.

Yea, it can make anything. Try anim8or (www.anim8or.com) and milkshape (www.milkshape3d.com - 20 bucks but well worth it)

Wings 3D is best from all free/low cost modeling programs I was using. However you cant animate model using it and build in unwrap is not the best I think. But for unwraping you can download for free Lith Unwrap which have all you need for unwraping model.

So I would recomend you Wings3D combined with Lith Unwrap (both are free) and something like CharacterFX for animating. Dont forget that you can always animate directli in DB or DBpro.

Another good alternative is Milkshape3D which have all you need to make, unwrap and animate model for DB.
