Nice, i like the red on your laptop. What are the specs on your big one? Seems like it wont fit under the desk!

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

My new media PC. It's got an AMD 2 core processor, and an 80gig internal drive, external 500gb drive. It's got a dell branded remote control with gyroscopic (gyration) mouse. 5.1 surround sound as well, and a tv tuner card with an fm radio tuner. Oh and a pictures of one of my babies down there on the bottom shelf.

And lastly, gotta show off my wiring closet... er, shelf. Got a brand new Asus router and installed dd-wrt on it. I've got a gigabit switch and it's connected to a power strip mounted right on the side there, so I can reboot everything from the power strip if the network fails. All of my computers are running gigabit cards as well. One of these days I'm going to move the modem over there too, but that requires running wire underneath the house. Meh...

If I had a camera I'd post one. It's just an HP craptop, absolutely nothing special. It has 4GBs of RAM (not as fast as you'd think...), a 2.1GHz dual core Intel processor, and either a 250 or 160GB hard drive. I can't remember which.

Yah sure, I don't mind saying the cost. I purchased it in October last year for $2145.00 CAD before taxes. That's roughly par with USD. I think I got a good deal at the time

Well, if I had a camera I'd post a picture.... not like there'd be any Oo's and Ah's at it, though, considering it's in pieces on the floor right now awaiting a soon-to-arrive new power supply.

Nice comps everyone! I wish mine was as impressive! It's not top of the line, I don't have a fancy monitor, and it fits nicely in the corner with a faint blue glow emitting from the case (No heat issues, it sits next to the window which is the coldest place in the house, besides the freezer!).... So if you can imagine tha tin your head, that's probably what it looks like on a good day.

My PC looks like this at the moment, well all the time actually as I always leave the side cover off.

Don't have a picture of the actual front of the case and don't feel like digging out a camera at the moment, it's nothing overly fancy though.

[Edit] I lie, this is an old picture. All the RAM slots are now filled and it has two SSDs in replacement of two of the HDD, other than that it looks the same.

An editing key board is used with applications for video editing, basically its a keyboard with editing shortcut keys printed on it.

heres a closer up image:

I don't video edit at all tho, i use because it was free, and it looks cool.

I find that sort of interesting also.

Most of the time I use my Motorola Droid 2 when posting on the forums. Because my keyboard is too far away.

Here's mine!

Doesn't look like much...but it's a laptop. Both monitors are 1920x1080 resolution, and those 3 harddrives in the bottom left hand by the desk make up 6tb worth of space.

I love my laptop <3

@Commico:

I've always wanted an editing keyboard. I'm a hobbyist videomaker and that would suit me very well.

Some cool setups here. It makes me feel un-special with my laptop on my make-shift desk. I'll take a picture and post in the next day or so. I just have to find a camera....

Here's my computer. Sorry for poor quality image, they tend to look rubbish in poor light settings('tis the best I can enhance it) and I can't be bothered to look for a digital camera.

I don't have a desktop. So it's a ThinkPad SL510 (2.2ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2gb RAM, 250gb HDD, Intel GMA) plugged into my 24" Samsung Syncmaster 1080p HDTV via HDMI with external mouse and keyboard, my XBox 360 Premium, Logitech 2:1 speakers (which seem to pick up German radio at night when I turn the volume down) and most importantly, two cups of tea, because I'm that English.

You can also see the first few chapters of my novel pinned up against my 360, not that you can read any of it.

Hehe, I have the same speaker set Seppuku - they freakin suck huh!. I tend to use headphones if I want to hear what's going on properly. My brother has the same case as Jeku, and it is a damn nice case, expensive, heavy, but worth it I reckon. My main PC on the other hand is ugly as sin, but I'll try and get some photos tomorrow anyway.

Actually I quite like them, a lot better than the 5:1 Technikas I bought (now two speakers are dead), but then Technika suck, hence they're so cheap.

I get a fairly decent sound quality out of my logitechs, so perhaps you've been cursed with a bad pair or something.

I'm just psyched I pick up German radio on them, my TV must be acting as an aerial or something, but hey I need to practice my German anyway. I'm going back to Germany in 2012 anyway.
