Heya guys, forum oldie here. Some may remember me.. or not

Anyway just wanted to give a heads up (if its allowed) about a game i've been working on for 1-2 years (part time) and finally released on Xbox360 not long ago

It's called Duodecad and the idea is obviously based off one of the many card mini-games that have appeared in the final fantasy series over time. You can check it out at
http://www.duo-game.com
Anyway i'm not just here to advertise - I genuinely wanted to say a special thank you to this community. I started when I was very young messing around with the bbc micro and then eventually on the PC using DIV games studio. During the DIV years I won a runner up prize in a retro remake competition they held and that prize was Darkbasic PRO.
Messing around in Pro for a long time was fun, then one day the DGDK was released and it gave me a real excuse to properly learn C++ programming. Coming 4th in the 2005 puzzle game competition with Iro was a real confidence boost that probably effected the direction of my life more than I know!
DarkGDK .NET gave me an excuse to learn c# and I enjoyed the combination of c++ for my game engines and c# for my editors. This meant when I had the opportunity to try XNA and c# for xbox development I was already in a very good position to use those tools - thanks entirely to my years in this community. I never had any formal education in programming at all.
So yeah, thanks! Its great to see this place still going strong and new products coming out etc. Guess I owe you all one
