A post was made in the fps-files chatbox about a new website for game developers. I signed up, and have been helping the owner get started up. We really need members (only 6, including me and the owner), so I'm making a post here hoping to get some support. The link is in my signature (made by me ) -Thank you for your support. It really is a great forum.

What reason does somebody have to join your forum rather than this one? Or gamedev.net? Or devmaster.net? Or the forums for their specific dev tool (Unity forums, Game Maker forums, BeyondUnreal, etc.)?

I really can't see what makes your forum any different than any other, as stated. Your forums seem like a basic MyBB forum (MyBB, gack.), with what appears to be a theme made by someone else. It's not exactly "difficult" to throw together a few common boards. You're going to need to offer something that nobody else has.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Its not my forum, so I could not really tell you what is meant to be different about it. I guess we will have to wait and see what the owner throws at us. I just hate to see some hard work go to waste.
EDIT: Also, the more who participate, the more information there is around. Why do you have an account on various forums? Because each one has its own info. I guess the owner just wants to have another place available to get resources from. Another difference is it is bilingual.

Please do not advertise empty forums here. Thanks.
