I downloaded it today! i think i might stick with it for awhile, but i still prefer 2.49's interface, mainly because i started out with 2.49 before 2.5 was even started, it'll be hard to get used to that's for sure.

its really not that much different, you just have to take the leap lol. Plus you have things like volume rendering as stuff(which is cool.)

I checked it out, one thing I noticed for the most part the hotkeys are still the same, it's just getting used to the new layout that might through u off, I plan on switching over once I finish up my first complete model, I don't want to confuse myself with something new I use three programs that work well together blender, paint.net. For the modeling and texturing and fragmotion for the animation. And when I can not figure something out the pros here in this forum have been very helpful!
