The Inside Ride is a fantastic 2 hour team-building, high energy musical event that is not only memorable but meaningful. It is a celebration of our efforts to get involved and give back to kids with cancer that doesn't require us to be athletes, just the enjoyment of being active with our friends.

In Canada, over 10,000 children live with cancer or its long term effects with an additional 1,400 children diagnosed each year. Childhood cancer is a disease that robs children of their childhood: Kids with cancer are used to "grown up" experiences with blood tests, doctor’s appointments, chemotherapy, surgery and radiation replacing many normal childhood and teen activities.

One in every 330 children will be diagnosed with cancer and 1 in every 400 young adults is already a childhood cancer survivor. Over 60% of survivors cope with long lasting effects: heart disease, relapse, joint replacements, secondary cancers, and learning disabilities to name a few.

The Inside Ride is organized by The Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and the survival rates of children and adolescents with cancer. The Foundation organizes a series of fundraising events that funds transition and survivorship, research, education and paediatric oncology camps.

The cost of the events and foundation are borne through corporate sponsorship and event registration. LG Electronics is the primary sponsor of The Inside Ride. Because of their support, one hundred percent (100%) of donations raised through our events flow through to the childrens cancer charities we support.

We thank you for your participation and support. With your help, we will improve the quality and survival rates of children and teenagers with cancer. With your help, we will all reach a "Destination Beyond Cancer".

I can't think of anything much better than improving the lives of children. Thanks for giving your time and energy to such a worthy cause.

My Grandson made a donation and he challenges all forum members Grandchildren to do the same.

Brian.
