my game is first person now im trying to get the similar movement that fps games have when i move i want it to appear im actuaal moving not the camera just going in a straight path i need a bounce here.

i dont quite understand your question, but have you tried the FPS tutorial yet? http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?f=tutorials the 3d monster hunt is a fps game tutorial that shows you stepbystep how to make a FPS.

he means that he wants the camera to move side to side and such to appear as if he is moving....steping and such...i think

yes bishop thats what i mean i want it to appear as if im actually moving having that certain bounce or side to side moving(stepping) as other fps games have if you notice.

oh! i get it! but i dont know how to do that. just make it
if uparrow being pressed = true then move camera y -10 then on the next line move it +10, or something like that. do you understand? i am NOT by anymeans, smart. so i am most likely wrong, but thats what i would try. and that is not coded, its just psuedo code.
