Hide the mouse.

Make a sprite

Positoin the sprite at the mousex and mousey position

Set the backsave state so the sprite refreshes

I posted a snippet a while back in the Code Snippets section. A lot of the DB demo code uses other mouses, why not look at that.

Hey guys, i downloaded reshack a minut ago. But I cahnged the icon and then i'll runned my program but then i get a window popup that says it has to close down. :S. But before i changed the icon nothing went wrong. After that i'll tried it at another game from me, that didn't work either. I didn't get the same windows popup. But i got a little popup of darkbasic that says: This program was made with darkbasic and 2 buttons with visit the darkbasic website and a button with close this window. How does this come:S? am i doing something wrong?

You need to edit the cursor in the db.exe file (the main exe file for DarkBASIC).

What i suggest you do is make a bakup of it, then change the cursor, compile your game, then once you've compiled it, delete teh exe file that you changed the cursor in, and copy the backup you made back into the folder, and everythign should work.

The little popup window is somethign you get if you're using the trial version of DB.

Hope I Helped...

Hmm, i don't know why you got the pop-up then, if you're not using the trial version... Strange.

Mabey you changed something when using ResHack on the db.exe file wich now brings up the pop-up.?

Glad to have Helped...
