Cool, the website doesn't say much, but I'm hoping you continue with the adventures of Niko because those were quite fun. And it would read your hard-drive/save files for what characters died in the storyline of GTA 4 because then it would feel like you're actually carrying on.

There's a little more on it here.

Personally I'd like to start fresh, as much as I enjoyed messing around on GTA4 i could never really get into the story.

I just hope they bring back the madness of the old games.

Yeah, that got annoying at times.

By the old games, do you mean Vice city, and those games, or the originals?

San Andreas was my favourite imo. I always just flipped on cheats and flew to the furthest island in an invincible fighter jet...very, very fun!

Yeah I mean Vice City and GTA3. I remember just going completely bonkers in Vice City, I could never emulate that madness in GTAIV.

They have this amazing sandbox in GTAIV, but it feels you can only just sit and watch it... You must not touch!

I was insanely disappointed when I found out there was no flying car cheat, no planes, no keys to the city mode... Just such a waste of money invested in an amazing engine really.
Sure you can get these things in mods, but they aren't supported, and usually crash the game.

The developers behind games like Saints Row 2 and 3 have the right idea.

Likewise, I would have loved to fly my car through downtown. I wish I could find my copy of San Andreas, it was my favourite. Flying across the state in my car...

... I really liked the flying car cheat. I'd also like for the police to just go crazy on you again, as it was what made GTA in the first place (Number 5, probably contains harsh language - It's Cracked)

just wondering why they didnt show it at E3 if theyre releasing it next year...

and i also hope they optimize the PC verson better than GTA IV: it was unplayable even at lowest at my old computer...

and for the record, I am a man.

Hopefully they don't make a GTA V, but instead make GTA IV: Vice City. Something like what they did with GTA III, with Vice City and San Andreas being part of GTA III.

San Andreas was my favorite, I loved the vast open spaces and all the fun pass times. I feel like Rockstar have taken a step back gameplay wise just to take a step forward in realism(graphics and physics).

SA is still one of the best sandbox games, and my favorite GTA game. You could do so much more than in GTAIV, and the city was laid out much better too. GTAIV is a great game, and GTAV will be too, I just hope it's for more traditional reasons.

That just sparks the debate we've seen countless times on these forums, and it boils down to - if they don't make a PC Version, they're just going to lose the money they could have made from not creating one, so they may as well.

That'd be cool, Vice City was my favourite for some reason, I guess I sort of got into the story a little.

It depends on how much it would cost to make a PC version, when the PC sales are less than 10% and slipping compared to PS3 and 360, well it's only a matter of time before blockbuster games don't make it to PC.

I'd rather play GTA on a console anyway, I got GTAIV for PC and have only really played multiplayer on it - I completed it for 360, and honestly it was a better experience on 360.

I guess you're right. I've only played GTA on console, it was only recently I've gotten into PC gaming. I can only guess that standard mouse and keyboard controls are very awkward when playing though.

I loved the PS2 era games. GTA4 had lovely graphics but people kept phoning me up when i just wanted to do my own thing for a bit, and the camera when driving was awful.

Either the FOV was too small or there was too much lag, but it seems when you turned a corner you couldn't see where you were going. Plus it defaulted to being so low you got a great view of the back of your car but couldn't see the road ahead, so i resorted to holding the camera thumbstick all the time when driving. If they'd tweaked a couple of variables the game would have been so much better.

Saints Row 2 is probably my favourite 360 game. SR3 looks incredible. Looking forward to November!

I think GTAIV I wish I never bothered with the story... its so short... after completing the story I lost interest in just going round blowing up chasing cops...

GTAV better build on where GTAIV failed - they have the engine now, make a good game

For those that are interested, I just read this article on IGN that shows some truly spectacular scenes in GTA IV with a new graphics mod that has recently been released.
