Hi all, got a net book pc with a plug in usb DVD player, does anyone know away of making it play a normal DVD film on them, as the one I have comes up with screen resolution not supported.

What software are you using to play it with?

In any case, I would try VLC Player, it handles anything I throw at it - even different region DVD's.

I might try VLC Player, as I tired window media player and added some codex's no joy, and real player won't do it unless it pay for.

even if VLC needs paying for might be cheaper than real player.

VLC is free, and like Van B said, it plays pretty much anything.
