Currently there is no Debugger at all. Lee said he's working on one. So maybe in some of the next updates.

Currently you have to create everything on your own. If you want output then your program has to write everything into a file.

apples debugger isnt that great. specially with 4.X still use 3.6.5 ebcause at least the debugger is half decent, they took huge steps down in 4.X.

Hi gymcoder,

due to the lack of debugger on tier1 I've written a on screen scrollable log that also saves to a file. You can grab it on TGC website code base http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=codebase_list&a=&c=&l=4

Not the best, but good enough for now..

Cheers

Thanks Paulo...I had forgotten the old ways of writing debug statements. I appreciate your time.

Just so, no debugger as such for T1 but a world class debugger in VS and XCODE for T2 users. We have made it a priority to get a debugger finished for T1 so you can at least see what your code, variables and breakpoints are getting up to!

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

Hi all,

Has there been any further development to a debugger in T1. And yes, I've seen the T2 suggestions, but T1 is good for prototyping.

Paul.

The FAQs suggest a debugger in version 1.1 so hopefully not too far from now.
