Would maya or 3d poser work better with db?Do they support .x and .3ds format?

it dosent matter what you use as long as you can
get the .x model and maya don't export or save to .x
you need a plugin witch i cant find and cant find a program
that can use maya file types.

but 3dsmax, truespace can and a few others can

The quest 3d site has a maya .x exporter.

There's no comparison between maya and poser.

Poser's good to start with if your new to 3d, but I don't hink it exports .x files.

you can't really put Poser up against Maya, thats just stupid
Alias.com has a list of plugins for Maya (however you'll need your CID to access it)

Poser is in trueSpace 6.x so i'd buy that if i were you, or even gameSpace - aparently thats good.
