My friend and i are making a game.
He made a model animation with anim8or, but we found out it doesnt support exporting animations in 3ds format. So, we extracted a 3ds from each of the frames and converted them to x-files.

I tried to make an anim out of them in db (classic version)

Yeah, total object frames says 24 but the model doesnt move when i play the anim. Whats wrong?

uhh... um... i havent worked with this thing... i use 3DS exporting to .x files... might want to check for any kind of plugin for anim8or that will alow you to export to .x

as for the code... the line
append object animation "1.x",str$(a)+".x",1,a

DBP does have this code... so im taking a shot in the dark...
what is '"1.x"' for and what is the 'str$(a)+".x"' for in the command... i believe the '1' is for the object number, and 'a' is the frame number...

like i said i only have DBP so if you can give me the command syntax... i might be able to help some more
