i actually noticed that they did the level scaling very well. I am level 23 right now. Back in Oblivion by that time all the bandits who attacked me wore fancy glass armour and had daedric stuff. And the guards were always more powerful.
In skyrim: Most bandits even at a high level, still wear crappy armour. However! i might be wrong but i think over time bandit camps get a little bigger.
But here is the interesting part!. At a high level, they made it so in a group of common bandits wearing crappy leather and iron armour who are easy to kill. there is usually now a badit leader! and the Bandit leader has all the fancy armour and weapons and usually a hefty bag of gold on him and he is a lot harder than the rest of his group. Altho i have only run int 2-3 of these they seem to be kinda rare.
Also i noticed, that whenever i am fighting any group of bandits or Forsworn or whatever, in some radom cave or some abandoned fort/tower/ruin, there Often most enemies are weak and easy, However, very Often there is 1 guy/girl who is usually more powerful than the rest, but NOT a bandit leader and STILL not wearing any fancy armour or weapons. They might only have a bit more gold on them than the rest, These types always give me a lot of trouble as i am usually being swarmed by 3 on average, If i focus on the 2 waeklings, the 3rd more powerful bandit (For me the more powerful ones are Spellcasters i get my ass kicked by them often) the powerful guy will finish me but if i focus on the powerful guy which is very hard if they are a spellcaster, the 2 weaklings will swarm me to death.
as for the guards! they are no longer always more powerful than you. They still present a bit of a challenge, but i find my warrior can easily take on 1-2 guards with a Greatsword, A couple of power attacks to knock them to the ground and finish them off while they are down. However,
Also, this game just keeps throwing stuff at me i never would have even expected. For exaple if the price on your head is small like 5-10 gold for some petty theft or a breakin, you can sometimes tell the guards to go to hell and they will leave you alone as they are just too lazy to deal with you or something.
But the biggest surprise of today goes like this: I wanted to get into a fight, so i saved my game and attacked a guard. It was night, everyone is asleep and there were no other guards nearby. As always after i attacked him it added a 40g bouny for assault. I killed the guard, and then i see a message:... "Last Witness is dead, 40 bounty removed" i was like... Wow I tried it again, this time getting into a fight with 2 guards and after i killed both, (also night, noone watching, no other guards neaby) Killed both of them, - Last witness died, Bounty of 1080g Removed"
But apperentley Like Todd Howard mentioned Chickens can report your crimes. I broke into a house in the middle of nowhere, The owners werent even there because apperentley they were driven out by a local band of bandits. Whn i come out of the house and randomly decided to check my bounty, i had 5 gold on me. I started looking around and there is 1 chicken walking around. I was like FUUUU, killed the chicken, but the bounty was still there. Apperentley while i was inside the house, the chicken spread the word. I played around with this mechanics for a while and realised that any witnesses to your crimes need to be killed as quickly as possible because apperentley after some time, the word spreads and killing the witnesses doesnot work anymore because other people already know he was a witness and since he was killed thus becoming pretty obvios to everyone who is behind the crime.
Speaking of chickens, i once killed a chicken on someones farm and the owner yelled: HEEY THAT WAS A VALUABLE ANIMAL! i thought that was really funny.
This game exeeded every expectation i had. I expected it to be very good and was very optimistic and i knew it would be better than oblivion and closer to morrowind but i had no idea that it would be this good! People are already saying that Skyrim could be the best videogame/ PC game in history! But i think, somewhere deep down, i will still love morrowind more because it was my first elder scriolls game, and the first game i ever played with a huge open world. Back in 2002 i was just AMAZED by the freedom and detail of this game, i didnt know such games were possible. I spent hours exploring all around the Seyda-Neen Then i finally looked at the world map and i was like WOOOOOOW! THERE IS NO WAY THERE IS THAT MUCH AREA TO EXPLORE!
I really want Beth to do (an accutae) remake of morrowind with their current engine. With all of the morrowind Mainland included. And all of the same stuff like crossbows, darts, ninja stars, (they had tons of ranged weapons) as well as Spears and stuff, Also accurate revamp of morrowindian armour and clothes (Netch leather armor looked badass despite being low level, DB helmets with all the cool Lenses and goggles looked badass (makes sence for morrowinds climate which has frequent ash storms) Morag tong armour looked cool, and pretty much all armour and clothes of morrowind looked very alien, awesome, badass, and hardcore. Also The dark elven griddy voices and their intimidating "imgonna kill you" attitude was awesome.
I liked the voices of Dunmer in Skyrim, they seem more accurate and overall much better than the snooty british rich guy Dunmer of oblivion. I am not complaining but even in skyrim, Dunmer sound a little british and personally io dont think they should. The morrowind Dunmer voice did so well to reveal not only the nature of MW natives but the entire harsh atmosphere of the country. Still i am satisfied with the Dunmer in skyrim. I actually really liked the way they made Dunmer, very close to what they looked like in MW.

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them
