How do you change meshes for models? do you need a model making software like 3d canvas pro or can you do it yourself?

PS i want to change the alien model so he's wearing boxing gloves
or make a female looking alien

well, you "can" make it yourself using dark basic primitives and limb commands but i'd suggest a 3D modelling language like 3D canvas pro or simillar
