For all you American football fans, is anyone else just sick and tired of this guys antics. (Antics being a HUGE understatement.)

For anyone who did not see, or hasnt heard, during the Packers\Lions game, he had an O-lineman on the ground, after a play, drove his helmet into the ground a few times, and stood up and stomped on the guy when he was still on the ground.

He is tied for most personal fouls this year(cant believe someone is actually on pace with this jerk), and his explanation of his actions yesterday was almost as bad as the actual act.

For anyone who isnt into American football, it wont be hard to find a video of this jerks behavior, and Im sure anyone whos a fan of any sport can relate to this kind of behaviour.

I recently learned to sleep with my eyes open. ..... God am I tired

Well for one thing, this is nothing new, overpaid unintelligent sports idiots who complain to much and wine and pitch a fit...ehhh...who sports thing is lame, these people get way to much for the amount of talent it takes to do there job (or lack-there of). Plus, American foot ball is a little fruity, just dudes jumpin' and rubbin' on eachother.

Well you see, the majority of professional athletes dont act this, and do have sportsmanship, but its guys like these who get all the media atention because it makes a good story. So people who arent sports fans, automatically assume that all these guys are jerks.

Its not just sports stars who are getting overpaid. Just about anyone whos famous in any form of entertainment, is being overpaid. Actors, musicians, all getting an unbalanced paycheck compared to the work they do.

And aside from baseball, and golf, most sports i think fall into the category of "dudes rubbin and jumpin on eachother"

Ive linked some images from a soccer match, a hockey game, and a basketball game that could all be considered "men rubbing on each other"

Because homophobia is so much more acceptable than bad sportsmanship.

Vengie, I am not tryin to imply that any of positions people get into in various sports are considered gay. Its just that American football for some reason more than other sports, will always get this steriotype put on it, when in reality, any contact sport is gonna men in odd looking positions. That was my reason for posting the pictures.

I really hope Im not coming off as being homophobic

I'm not homophobic either, in fact, I feel more comfortable around gays then I do around "bros" in a locker-room.

Sports to me are just overrated, I mean there a good side thing and there is nothing wrong with them at all, but it just makes me a little sad to see that our society considers them as worthy of the same income as a doctor, lawyer, musician, scientist or any other profession that actually takes some legitimate skill (I feel the same way about CEO's, they are way overpaid.)

Yep, but

that's because the people who usually like American football are these guys:

Edit: I'll stop contributing to how off-topic this is getting.

I hate you.

...

I dare you to try to live on the average wage of a theatre performer, remembering that 10% goes to your agent, pension comes out of your own salary, and because everybody wants to be on the stage there's no incentive for producers to pay anything above the minimum wage. And if you're on broadway or the west end, you're gonna need to live nearby... yeah, good luck getting that for cheap.
