Does anyone know if the AppGameKit will run in basic mode on a Windows XP system?

If this is any help, I'm using quite a low spec system.

ASRock P4i65G motherboard.
Pentium 4 processor @ 3.0GHZ.
2GB RAM.
120GB HDD
Geforce 5200FX graffix card.
Installing GLDirect is a must with the above GFX card, it's not a GL-friendly card so needs GLDirect to bridge it.

PS. It runs like a bag when using AppGameKit Viewer fot iOS, due to it having to update both the screen on the device as well as the PC.

There's the report abuse button at the right bottom side of each post.

Now that I think about it though, I wonder if the report abuse button is appropriate for these types of issues.

@Beyondourken: I also forgot to add... Yes BASIC mode will work on an XP system, it does on mine.

it wasnt exactly a I AM ANGRY post lol... might want to pooint out to him...

when in the same post as your original go to the bottom of the page and you can see a new post box for that thread,... also refrain from the ancient legend of double posting... its a dark evil shadow that lurks in the darkness of this here forum ...

Please accept my apologies

I must have been over excited at the prospect of getting to play with the AppGameKit and being able to call it work.

It wasn't the same question anyway! One was about NT, and the other about XP.

(Granted, should have been in the one post but nobodies perfect!)

To get back to the point.....

Thank you for the info.

I have available a Windows XP machine with service pack 3, 3Ghz processor and 3Gb of RAM so that should be OK. The graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce 8600. I will test that out using the sample downloads as you have advised.

I use AppGameKit on a far less powerful WinXP machine so you'll be fine.
