Ah yeah... Thanks Green Gandalf. It's about time I got round to trying these out...

EDIT: I'm getting the same results. Crashes with the latest update. Ah well...

Mental arithmetic? Me? (That's for computers) I can't subtract a fart from a plate of beans!

although, as far as I understand, shadows flag doesn't mean shadow mapping?

Yes. It's one of the "most annoying bugs" that we hope will be fixed soon. They work with most earlier upgrades (I'm not sure when it was broken - might have been U7.5).

If I remember from earlier in this forums posts, someone had them working great (in an earlier version) while everyone elses was crashing and were being left flummoxed. For the time being I'll be patient and hope that it's fixed in the next update.
