The January 2012 newsletter cover will feature some nice eyecandy from a game that the community thinks is worthy. Anything you suggest will need an image that is at least 800 x 600 pixels, and preferably larger.

So look through the incredible things that have been published in 2011 and let me know what you like. You can submit your own game as it's probably the best way to get some good screenshots.

The chosen image won't necessarily be the most voted for. We'll look through them to see what shows off FPSC / DBP / AppGameKit / DGDK to its best.

I'd like to nominate Malevolence. I've haven't played it myself but the video looks fantastic and it's an excellent example of DBP/DGDK's (I can't remember which) power. Screenshots should probably come from CumQuat though.

Hodgey, you're a champ! The team would get SUCH a buzz if we made the cover! Our IndieDB Page has a HEAP of screenshots on it, but I might whip up something new and special for my submission. Definitely count Malevolence in, though!

Does the screen shot have to come from an actual WIP that can be found here on the forums, or can it be a random thing we whip together?

This sounds like fun!

I think the game needs to be completed. There's one keyword in his second paragraph, "published".
