The other day i stumbled across this guy's very neat video of a thing he made called the Aurora 9x18 and it's simply beautiful. It is a circular circuit board with 9 rings of 18 RGB LED's controlled by a micro controller and the sequences it shows are quite awesome.

Here it is:


He also has one with just one ring of 18, the Aurora Mini 18:


He also has another one that is a bar of just nine.

I posted these videos because they define exactly what awesome is. They are also hypnotic, and who doesn't like hypnotic videos?!?!

I see! He sold them as kits but they sold out, though i know he still sells kits for the mini 18 and the 9 bar.
