Wait, did you say a Morris? Why do I have this strange urge to want to drop a piano on it?

Oh my! It looks like someone stole most of your motor! You better get the hood back on before they get the rest of it.

What happened to the other two you got a while back?

we ended up robbing the red one for parts for the blue one.blue is now stripped down to the chassis, the engine has been rebuilt & my dad is now trying to sort out the bodywork (but there is a lot of holes to sort out )then its onto the rebuild & respray.

I was expectine a onespeed bently style engine lol with a billion valves and... more substance for the size of the vehicle... so power to weight ratio is low... can you plugin a cheap modern motor perhaps?

Nice work so far; amazing how simple engines were back then! I also noticed that your driver's side front tire on the black car seems to be low?

its only the wings that will be black the rest of the bodywork is going to be maroon, this was the original color of the car.it was painted RAF blue in ww2 as the owner was a WAF officer & used it as a staff car.

Looks good Henry and will look great once you get it back to the original look. Car restoration projects are great. I remember working on a 68 Chev Impala and a 56 Chev in my younger years. I look forward to doing a car restoration with our youngest son when he is older.

So down the road we will see Mrs Henry in the back and Mr Henry chauffeuring her around?

Cathy and I will look forward to the final outcome to this project.

I see you've got the most important tool for the job readily accessible (the cup of tea perched on the wheel)!!

Nice re-spray BTW

You should have taken the dents out of the rear before painting it. I spent a lot of my childhood with my mate, and his dad restoring old cars. He had about 12. Now he uses them for weddings.

Very Nice Henry.

I am more of a 60's Chevy Pick Up guy, but you are turning out some good work here. Can't wait to see it completed.

I have a lot of respect for those that restore these sheet metal beasts no matter the make or model. These things are a part of history and once they end up sitting in a field and rust down to nothing.. that is it.. they are gone.

Thank you for not chopping it up into some "custom creation".

Wish I had the time and money to pick the hobby back up again.

Well, as anyone who's done body work can tell you, any imperfections in the body work get covered up by the paint. /Sarcasm
