I want my background on the menu screen to be a grid that scrolls down in X and Y. I want it to continue to do it.

How do I do that?
With one big image or tiles or what?

Yes, UV scrolling is the easiest way. Make sure your images allow UV scrolling after they are loaded.

UV scrolling is a great option but sprite sheets are not supported
