I have an avi file that I am trying to play on my loading screen. I load and place the avi where I want, and the first few frames of the animation play, but once the game starts to load up the avi stops until the load is complete.

Is there some way around this, or is it just not possible to play an avi file during loading sequences?

You could try IanM's interrupt loading system to load data in the background whilst the animation plays. Not sure if it works with 'Classic' though.

Where can I find IanM's loading system? I just checked the code base and I didn't see it.
