hello people,

I know this isn't strictly about DarkBASIC but, i was wondering if anybody could help me with something to do with something more on the lines of windows PLEASE BEAR WITH ME!

I'm building a security program in DarkBASIC and it's almost fool proof . can anybody tell me which file/place/deserted planet i have to put my program in/on so it executes as soon as I log in to my account (i'm working in Windows XP if it's any consellation).

Can anybody help me out? if they can PLEASE give me a mail, and i'll be really grateful.

richard.

Try putting it in the startup folder in Start->Programs. Also, you could start it up using windows scripting. For this you'd go into control panel->users (might be called something different but along the same lines) and then right-click on your username. Then you can put in a start-up script that gets executed every time you log in.

Cheers,

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...

You could also put something in the Registry that executes the program when you log on (but this would take a few seconds for the program to execute) so makeing a script is the best idea...
