Hi,
Unfortunately my lumia 800 is not supported by Skype mobile.
So far we can talk & chat, using my PC and his iPhone. But the conversation quality many times is bad and I don't know why this is happening. Is it possible to talk without skype but using another software?

Sorry... but aren't those phones? Can't you just phone him?

Anyway, I always use TeamSpeak.

could be a bandwidth issue. Are you downloading, surfing or anything while you're talking?

@DJ Almix: thank you for that info
@Jerico2day: The notification icon in Windows task bar for Internet access indicates an excellent signal. After my post, I upgraded to the latest version of Skype. I'll check my bandwidth consuming when talking. Thanks for the suggestion.

@Neuro Fuzzy: I pay 16€ per month (VAT included) for home internet access and some of my friends are using their iPhone with Skype for talking with me. I use Skype from my desktop.
As far as I know, in Hellas there is no mobile package cheaper than 20€ per month.
BTW: the Tango looks very nice

Aside from the fact that i call for free to those who use the same mobile thingy as me (TELIA), yes. yes it is. Provided you do call much, and also whats to say he were to call outside of home? At home he could just use Wifi

I would suggest finding something FOSS compliment then you wont have software compatibility issues.

Luckily for us both, they will only block it on new phones and not us "old customers"
