It would probably be easier to share the app to...

Really the only bad thing about this app is that although the onscreen keyboard is uses is far optimized over the regular one for programming, nothing beats a legitimate, tangible keyboard with all of the arrow keys, symbols, numbers, etc... Im thinking about buying a wireless keyboard for the ipad.

Lol well a tablet on screen is great for normal use but not for programming.

I saw a really nice iPad keyboard on Amazon, for like £10 - looks like the typical mac keyboard and doubles as a case. There are a few options, and if I was coding on an iPad that would be my second purchase after this.

I like the look of it, but the thing that concerns me is graphics - I have about 5 art packages for ipad, none of them would be good for sprites. But it looks to me like they want to sell media packs. I don't like that idea much, everyones game having either the little character, or the gems, and looking the same. I'd rather have badly drawn unique sprites personally .

I might grab it once my current project is done and I have more time to play.

It'd be one heck of a thing to do when you're out somewhere and don't have access to your game dev computer! And amazing for just when you're bored. Though I wonder how you would make media for it? Like a drawing app or something?

One of the demo programs the app comes with is a sprite editor! I must say its pretty powerful too... As for those keyboard/cases I have heard bad things about them, not sure why though!

Definitely pretty cool, though I have to be the one to say it. Why not just use a laptop? I'm not trying to start a debate, just saying that if you now might want to/need to buy a keyboard for a tablet then what's the advantage?

However, it is pretty cool that they are trying to make tablets rely less (or not at all) on computers.

I'll give it the accelerometer and the gyroscope, besides that meh. Still awesome news for everyone who already has one though. Something like this for android (including phones) would be great

Remember, you have multitouch.

It is a nice place for me to program as i really have no other place to program games where they will run nicely... My laptop cant do simple 2D stuff anymore.... I should reinstall the OS lol! When i first got my top of lap computer, it ran great! But now... Well, not so much. But hey, my iPad has iOS which shouldnt degrade over time unlike windows!
