This happened a few months ago.... It got shut down because to many illegal uploads and other crap.

It's not phishing. The guy who ran MegaUpload is in prison and the website has been shut down.

Here's the TGC topic from when it happened.


It's a major annoyance because there was a lot of legitimate stuff uploaded there.

Thanks. Unfortunately when I did a megaupload search that thread didn't come up. If it did I wouldn't of had to start this thread.

I just did a search again. This time it came up and so did mine. :shakes head: I do use the "Thread Subject Search" below. It's the first thing I do when I have a question. Anyway this one can be locked if a mod wants to lock it.

Well the police can get out of hand and this is one of their times. I mean I saw a video online where the police arrested this couple for kissing in public.
