I'm not sure I understand. A user named Daniel wright 2311 posted a screen shot of a model, and then a user name Daniel wright 2311 (ie. the same person) claimed ownership of the mesh. And the thread was locked.

i.e. The model was ripped or downloaded from somewhere, and he claimed it as his own.
