Make a 2d type strategy game where people can build up fleets and distroy one another (won't be online) or should i say you can build up fleets and distroy masses of other computerized fleets and all while taking over planet after planet and building them up ect...so really each planet would have to be built from the ground up in order for it to beable to produce ships....so how would i go about making a game with alot of screen interfaces for like planets and stuff? and fleet interfaces (remember its 2d with those screens)?

Your question is a little too broad to receive an answer of any value. Your first step should be the design phase - break your game into the tools, screens, objects that you will need and the skills you will need to learn. Then tackle each task one at a time.

You will get far more useful responses by asking "How to I make a pop-up window" than "How do I make a game". Be specific in your request and if possible show a little bit of code to let us know where you are starting from and that you have at least tried to tackle the problem before posting.

Well you see i want to know where i should start from if i should go about making several diffrent solar systems and then adding in ships ect...for tests or if i should go about makeing the menu's ect...

Make the main game engine first... IE, a basic matrix with basic objects and basic movement, and once you've done that, then you should worry about menu's and other things like that...
