Copied over files in

AGK\IDE\apps\interpreter_ios

and overwrite my working project of 1065 player. Change the signing stuff, build and install.

Player comes up and tries to receive the AppGameKit broadcast app from 107 but doesn't run and displays these error messages:

Version Error: Update the player
Failed to connect to server IP

version info at bottom of screen reads 100000006

No problem for me ... i've just built the ios player 107 (following again the documentation to build it) and it works well on my iPhone 4 (ios 5)

I don't understand that, I just re-built it verbatim using the help file on my iPad3 using the new files and get the same error...

Version Error: Update the player to continue

It does run broadcasted code from 1065 just fine.

For T2 users, this error would happen if the apps\interpreter folder was an old one, holding the old version number for the player. It is always a good idea to use the new installer files and not rely on old AppGameKit files from previous installs. To this end, keep your application source code separate from the AppGameKit files so you can update one without affecting the other.

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

I am using T1 and the second time I tried to build the player I used only the new files from the fresh 107 install and a clean project directory in xcode. The folders agkinterpreter.xcodeproj and Classes are dated 5/1/12, everything else is dated 8/3/11. I am also getting build warnings this time that I did not get with the old player which are mostly "warning: backslash-newline at end of file", project still builds and installs. Player still says version is "100000006" and as I said, does not run 107 programs.
