My searching methods must be sub-optimal because I cannot believe there is absolutely no mention of Molyjam on this forum! If you don't know what Molyjam is here is an article about it click to receive cake
For those cake sceptics the basic premise of Molyjam is to pick a game idea from a list and do as good a job as you can with it in 48 hours. The twist is that Molyjam gets its list of ideas from @PeterMolydeux, a twitter parody of Peter Molyneux, and the ideas are all colossally bizarre.

I'd love to do something like this on here, we could use @PeterMolydeux or we have tonnes of ideas right here on the forums that never got made for some reason. Anyone else interested in this?

Personally I think it's a great idea. Though I won't be able to participate, I'd still gladly sit back and watch the participants participate.

Some Molyesque ideas:

* A one-dimensional platformer.
* A card trading game where the cards themselves are weapons.
* You play as a dog who's been left home alone.

The only requirement is creativity, you can make the game in whatever style you like.

It is bad that the first word which popped into my mind when I saw the title of this thread was "Logjammer" from the movie "The Big Lebowski"?
